Dance Teacher Profile – Sam Jenkins

Sam JenkinsSam has been dancing street dance for over 20 years. In 2005 she became part of Milton Keynes dance crew Pink Mafia run by Mark Calape (choreographer/dancer for A-Team – Sky1 Got To Dance 2012). It was at this time where Sam was first introduced to a more Hip Hop style and culture.

Sam went on to become part of Culture Shock UK and trained with teacher Oma Paloma who runs the biggest Hip Hop dance event in the UK the ‘UK Hip Hop Championships’. In 2007 Sam joined another Milton Keynes based crew called Nemisis. Nemisis reached the final of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ in 2008. She performed as part of the shows national arena tour along side acts George Sampson, Signature, Faryl Smith, Strike, performing at some great venues and shows, opening for artist’s ‘N.Dubs’, ‘Jamelia’, ‘Christopher Bryn’ and X Factor finalist’s ‘Austin Drage’ and ‘Diana Vickers’.

Sams knowledge and experience makes her a great teacher for all ages and abilities and fantastic teacher of Street Dance for young people and adults in Milton Keynes.
