Festival Dancers

Our first festival and all the girls were fantastic. Each and every one of them put so much work into the rehearsals, showing true commitment and it paid off with a huge success.

The girls represented the school extremely well and I was very proud of them all.

Parents Meeting

You are welcome to come along and put forward any ideas or suggestions at our next parents meeting. The date is 24th September 2009 at 6pm and the venue is Manor School, Raunds.

Show Time

Our showcase this year will be on Saturday 5th December 2009 with 2 performances.

Dress rehearsals will be Thursday 3rd December 2009.

You can save for costumes for the end of year show using our savings club.

Dance School Reports

School reports will be sent out during Summer break along with the grading for the in-house assessments.

Summer School

If you would like to attend the Summer School, please give your name to Miss Hayley or Miss Jo.

Last year we had Tim Walker who is currently starring in the musical Hairspray and this year we have some more fabulous dancers lined up.

The school will be held at Manor School 10th – 13th August 10.00am to 3.30pm £75.00.

Panto Auditions

Well done to all the girls that went to take part in the auditions. If you were not lucky enough to get in this time there will be others. Dust yourself down, put your chin in the air and keep smiling!

Look out for the Derngate auditions which will possibly be in the first week of September 2009. I will let you know as soon as I have the details.

Termly Fees

Unfortunately, some term fees are not being paid on time. May I respectfully remind everyone that all fees are due at the start of the first week of each term, unless a payment plan has been agreed in advance.

We have overheads that have to be paid in advance such as studio rent, insurance, wages etc. I must therefore remind you that all dance fees were due by 16th July and are now overdue.

Anyone who wishes to pay their fees monthly may do so by sending in 3 cheques for the full amount. The first cheque will be due on your child’s first lesson of the term and the other two post dated for the outstanding balance to clear before the end of term.

Uniform

Please ensure that you are in correct uniform for your class. Hair should be tied back for each lesson and a bun for ballet. Leg warmers are only to be worn for jazz and they must be pink or black please.

Mufti Week

Donate a raffle prize and come dressed in dance mufti. Week commencing 21st September 2009.

All money raised from the raffle will go directly towards the cost of the costumes for the end of year show.

Our 5th Anniversary Celebration!

We will be celebrating our 5th year on 13th October 2009 and we will be celebrating with a party at the Snooker Club.
